Sara Crewe

A friendly little soul who shared willingly to other people. Sara is a motherly young person who is a good storyteller. She is a girl well loved, well attended and well cared by his father. She was brought up strong in her convictions and very sensitive to the needs of others. Sara does look like a princess because she endured one misery after another without complaints.

Captain Crewe

He is a man full of fun. He is the only relative of Sara who is still alive in the first part of the story. Captain Crewe was a good father because he was always there to support his daughter. He was willing to do everything just to make his only daughter become the happiest child in the world.

Ms. Minchin
|
She is a wise entrepreneur. However, Ms. Minchin is a hard-hearted person who has large, cold fishy eyes and a large, cold, fishy smile. She is always in control of what is beneficial to her. She sees to it that every penny she will be spending to someone will be paid back to her in any form.

Ms. Amelia
|
Ms. Amelia is fat and dumpy. She is accustomed to being called a goose. She is the sister of Ms. Minchin and she never disobeyed her. Compared to her sister, she is kindhearted however she was never given the chance to prove it.

Lavinia Herbert

She is super jealous of Sara. Lavinia wants to be the queen in the boarding school because she believed that she is the leader in Ms. Minchin's seminary. For her, Sara telling stories to other girls is completely silly. She finds delight whenever Sara is going through something bad.

Ermengarde St. John
|
Ermengarde is an average girl who loves to listen more than to read. She became friends with Sara at once because Sara plans to teach her French where she is having difficulty learning the foreign language. she admires Sara because she can speak French.

Lotto "Lottie" Legh
|
Her defense mechanism is to cry whenever she cannot get what she wants. Ms. Minchin cannot deal with her tantrums. Sara volunteered to be Lottie's mother in school. Lottie found comfort in Sara's company because she can understand her.

Becky

Becky is a plain-looking, worn-out, little scullery drudge. She is a 14-year-old girl who acts as the scullery-maid in the seminary. Often starved, humiliated and scolded to the slightest mistake she made.

Large Family

A family that is always happy. The children without saying words, showed sympathy and compassion to Sara. They are the frequent visitors of Mr. Carrisford.

Donald Carmichael
|
Donald is an affectionate 5-year-old child. He is a pretty fellow with rosy cheeks and blue eyes. He is the one who gave Sara sixpence.

Mr. Carmichael
|
Mr. Carmichael is the lawyer of Mr. Carrisford. He sought justice for Sara. He explained to Ms. Minchin her rights and limitations. He is also the father of the Large Family.

Ram Dass
|
Ram Dass has a face of a native Indian. He is a lascar, he works for Mr. Carrisford. He is also the servant of Missee Sahib. Ram Dass is the one responsible for the "magic" that happened in Sara's room. He would often bring nice things for Sara because he loves making her happy.

Melchisedec
|
A father rat who tries to sneak crumbs from Sara's room. He could understand Sara in a way that he would come out from it's hiding place. After taking some crumbs, Melchisedec would go back into the wall to feed his family. This rat was tamed by Sara.
